my story
My name is Caleb, and I grew up in a small town just north of Raleigh, North Carolina. Now, I am 24 years old and am living in my favorite place: New York City. When I was growing up, I would travel, but only within the state of NC. I didn’t get out much. That’s why as soon as I got my driver’s license I drove everywhere! I first drove across the USA in the summer of 2019, but my favorite place of all to visit was New York City. It’s for that reason that I’ve called New York home for nearly the last five years.
It’s hard to believe it’s already been that long, but the leap I took when I was 19 to come to New York has paid off in more ways than I could ever possibly imagine, and none of that would have happened if I first didn’t take the leap to travel on my own. I’ve since driven across the United States three times. Every time I travel, I love and appreciate the new culture and experiences that I take with me everywhere I go.
Now, I want to help others do the same. I feel like in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, everyone is itching for the next big travel experience, but they’re afraid they’ll run into tourist traps, confusion, stress, or high prices. Your ambition and willingness to travel is valid, but your anxieties are not! Just go for it!
Whether you’re an old friend of mine back home in North Carolina, or you just met me in New York City, I’d love to help with your next big travel experience. I certainly hope it could change your life like my decision to travel changed mine. I would love to tell you about all the crazy things I’ve done with my life, and how it’s all paid off.
Take a look at the photo directly below on the left, that’s two of my buddies after we climbed on top of an abandoned power plant in New York!
